Plot Synopsis

As a former prosecutor, Nancy Grace puts her own spin on a courtroom TV series. In each 30-minute episode, she'll listen to litigants for one case and, if necessary, she'll even enlist the help of polygraph panelists, DNA experts, and blood splatter specialists to help her provide swift justice. Nancy directly connects with her viewers in a variety of ways -- Facebook, Twitter, and email. Plus, she'll use a recurring segment called "Nancy Across America" to resolve disputes outside the studio, allowing both sides to present their cases from a local station via satellite or from their homes using a web camera. One time per week for the "Nancy Across America" segment, Nancy will forgo technology and go into a litigant's home to preside over their arguments. Typical in-studio cases include: a man who wants his money back for an engagement ring; a woman wants her child's father to pay court costs after he made a false claim to child-protective services; an ex-girlfriend says a truck driver vandalized her luxury car; a mother is accused of hiring a "hit girl" after mean girls bully her daughter.
