Plot Synopsis

Three alien teens from Galaluna crash-land on Earth while escaping from an evil General who has taken over their home planet. Now, Ilana, Lance and Octus must blend into everyday life in Sherman, Illinois by posing as high-school students while saving the planet and themselves from an onslaught of inter-galactic attacks. When called into battle, Octus activates the sym-bionic defense program and Ilana, Lance and Octus come together to form the spectacular cyber-giant Sym-Bionic Titan. Ilana, the daughter of the King and sole heir to the throne of the planet Galaluna, is outspoken, righteous and tenacious, making her a symbol of hope and happiness for the citizens of Galaluna but putting her on the low rung of the social ladder of Earth high school. On Galaluna, Lance was a rebellious and talented soldier who was selected by the King to protect Ilana, and now he finds that his rebellious attitude that caused so much trouble back home is exactly the reason why everyone thinks he's so cool at Sherman High. Octus is the latest bio-cybernetic robot developed by a group of Galaluna's top scientists, and, despite being an analytical observer that surveys and records data for further research, he transitions into protective mode when Princess Ilana is threatened by utilizing a number of defensive tactics including generating holograms, piercing sonic disruptions and blinding light. To help them assimilate on Earth, Octus uses holographic technology to assume two different forms: Newton, a teenage boy named after scientific genius Isaac Newton, who is interested in what makes these human teenagers tick; Dad, an older gentleman resembling Ilana and Lance, who is initially intended as a ruse for parent-teacher conferences and career days but becomes more like a real father over time by breaking up fights and consoling and helping Lance and Illana to see things from a different perspective. General Modula was once a great hero on Galaluna, but after returning from a recent rescue mission, he became ravenous for power and gathered an army of beasts and monsters to attack the capital and Royal Palace so he could rule the planet. Now, he's a warmonger and dictator who won't rest until Ilana is extinguished because she is the only chance for a rebellion against him. Solomon, a gruff vigilante, leads the the Galactic Guardian Group (G3), a privately funded, clandestine army of mercenaries that protect Earth from extra-terrestrial life forms threatening to invade. At first, G3 considers Ilana, Lance and Octus as an alien threat to the Earth, blaming them for the upswing in monster attacks, and tensions flare as Solomon attempts to eradicate both alien forces from Earth.
