Plot Synopsis

Chef Walter Staib travels to America's most historic locations, preparing 18th-century dishes, learning about the country's founders, and visiting local landmarks. In this series, Chef Staib learns about Martha Washington's contributions at Valley Forge, the Washingtons' well-known slave-chef Hercules and Jefferson's Monticello, where he walks through the gardens and even cooks in Jefferson's kitchen.
