Plot Synopsis
Narrated by Charles Dance, TESTAMENT: THE STORY OF MOSES is a three-episode series that explores the life of Moses and his rise from outcast and murderer to prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. From the banks of the Nile to Mount Sinai to the Red Sea, TESTAMENT interweaves docudrama and expert interviews, revealing Moses' intensely personal quest for redemption -- setting in motion some of the most inspiring and iconic events in the Bible, Qur'an and Torah. All three 80-minute installments of TESTAMENT: THE STORY OF MOSES dropped on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 on Netflix:
"Part 1: The Prophet": Forced to leave behind his life as a prince in Egypt, Moses finds refuge in Midian. A mysterious encounter compels him to take on a divine mission.
"Part 2: The Plagues": Moses confronts the pharaoh and demands the Hebrews be freed. But when the pharaoh refuses, a series of plagues are unleashed on Egypt.
"Part 3: The Promised Land": The pharaoh relents after the 10th plague only to change his mind. An obstacle turns into a miracle at the Red Sea as Moses leads the Hebrews to freedom.
