Plot Synopsis
Liz Lemon is the head comedy writer on "TGS," a network variety show in New York City, who must deal with the brash new network executive who has turned the show upside down with his meddling ways.
For its seventh and final season on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 8pm ET/PT, 30 ROCK opened with Liz alarmed by Jack's shockingly bad Fall programming line-up and with Jenna preparing to be a bridezilla, enlisting a reluctant Liz to be her maid of honor.

On Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 8pm ET/PT, NBC premiered "A One-Time Special," a one-hour 30 ROCK special. In this special event featuring all the beloved characters from the original series, Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy reunite the TGS team to help Kenneth Parcell with an advertiser presentation.
