Plot Synopsis

Based on the iconic 1960s classic children's adventure series created by Gerry Anderson & Sylvia Anderson, THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO follows the International Rescue, which answers the call whenever disaster strikes. From their hidden island base in the south Pacific, the five Tracy Brothers pilot remarkable, cutting-edge Thunderbird vehicles from the depths of the oceans to the highest reaches of space -- all for one purpose: to help others in need. Amazon released the first season of this series in the United States on April 22, 2016. Season 2 of THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO made its debut in the United States on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT when Amazon released the 10-episode second season. In Season 2, the everyday heroes at International Rescue continue to work together to perform harrowing rescue missions across the globe. The Tracy brothers and covert ops specialist Kayo pilot their state-of-the-art Thunderbird vehicles to every corner of the world and beyond to defend people in need and fend off their arch nemesis, The Hood. Season 2 opens with International Rescue being called in after Brains's latest invention, a luxury space hotel, begins to malfunction. Season 3 of THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO made its debut in the United States on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT when Amazon released the 13-episode third season. In the third season, International Rescue faces their toughest challenge yet: a mysterious new villain named The Mechanic, who uses his "mecha machines" to create chaos.

Amazon released the 13-episode fourth season of THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO in the United States on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. The Hood and The Mechanic have escaped and are once again wreaking havoc, but they have different plans. IR must work to thwart these masterminds while protecting those in need, such as oil rig deckhand (guest Emilia Clarke) and eccentric inventor (guest David Tennant). In the end, both villains resurface for a jaw-dropping battle, one that will test the Thunderbirds like never before.
