Plot Synopsis

Set 100 years in the future in Tokyo, TOKYO OVERRIDE is a six-episode anime that follows lonely hacker Kai, who gets entangled with a group of underground couriers -- a biker group named Suma Garage. Together, they uncover the dark truth lurking beneath Tokyo's seemingly perfect facade. AI has integrated into daily life and urban living is fully automated. In this seemingly "ideal society," a group of misfit protagonists, riding motorcycles now deemed obsolete, uncover a hidden and formidable evil. The series features real-life models and custom-designed motorcycles, in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Co. and Honda Motor Co. All six half-hour episodes of TOKYO OVERRIDE dropped on Thursday, November 21, 2024 on Netflix.
