Plot Synopsis

Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins, one of the members of TLC, the second-best-selling female group TLC of all-time, survived years of personal, health and financial issues, and now she's balancing her career re-boot with her personal life as a single mother. After dealing with the tragic 2002 death of fellow group member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, she suffered from the debilitating disease Sickle Cell Anemia and was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2006. Following surgery to remove the tumor, T-Boz had to relearn how to walk and talk again. But on her road back to making music, she endured a very public financial meltdown, twice filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2011 while having estate sales to raise money. Now, she's returning to Los Angeles with the goal of re-booting her music career, where she'll create new songs and continue to conquer her health issues -- all while being a single mother to her daughter, Chase.
