Plot Synopsis

Before Season 5 of TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS began, 16 chefs went head-to-head to win four 8th-seed slots in the tournament bracket. In each two-hour episode, eight chefs compete for one of two spots in the tournament. TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS: THE QUALIFIERS debuted on consecutive Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT on Food Network, beginning February 7:

"Two Chances To Make the Tournament" (Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 8-10pm): Tournament of Champions V is almost here, and there are more amazing chefs than spots in the bracket. For the first time ever, Guy Fieri kicks things off with a 16-chef qualifier series, where the competitors will have the chance to earn one of the four remaining eight-seed slots in the TOC main bracket. Eight hopefuls chef get the competition rolling as they will have to conquer two intense battles against the other chefs and the dreaded randomizer in order to earn a spot in the main bracket where they will take on the former champions.

"More Hopefuls Find Out Their Fate" (Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 8-10pm): Guy Fieri welcomes eight more hopeful chefs to battle it out for the final two spots in the Tournament of Champions V bracket. Whoever can come out on top after the intense battles will earn an eighth-seed spot and face a past TOC champ in the main tournament, but only if they can conquer the dreaded randomizer and satisfy the taste buds of a panel of TOC champions.

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS: THE QUALIFIERS returned on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 8-10pm ET/PT on Food Network, in the lead up to the sixth season of TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS. Sixteen chefs go head-to-head competing for eight open slots in the tournament bracket, marking the first time that half of the chefs competing in the qualifiers will advance. Before they enter the arena and the culinary battles begin, Guy Fieri, Justin Warner and Season 3 winner Tiffani Faison preview all the twists and spins of the Randomizer, and reveal the details of this year's bracket in "Tournament of Champions VI: The Bracket Reveal" on Sunday, February 23 at 10pm ET/PT. The four episodes of THE QUALIFIERS include:

"A Shot at the Main Bracket " (Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 8-9pm): Tournament of Champions VI is almost here, and Guy Fieri is back with the qualifier rounds. Over the course of eight battles, 16 chefs will be chosen at random to go head-to-head to earn one of the remaining spots in the TOC VI main bracket. The winner of each qualifying battle is in the tournament, and the loser gets to watch TOC VI from home.

"Win and You're In" (Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 9-10pm): Twelve hopeful chefs remain as the Tournament of Champions qualifier rounds continue with two more one-on-one battles. The chef who can win over a panel of TOC champs in a blind taste test will get the opportunity to compete in the main tournament. But they'll have to conquer the dreaded randomizer as well as their opponent!

"Prove Yourself" (Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 8-9pm): It's the halfway point of the qualifying rounds, and only eight chefs remain! The competitors who win their intense head-to-head battle by successfully dealing with the randomizer and satisfying the taste buds of a panel of TOC champs will earn a spot in Tournament of Champions VI.

"The Final Tournament Spots" (Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 9-10pm): Six amazing chefs have already earned their spots in the main tournament. In the final qualifier event, the remaining four chefs battle head-to-head for the last two spots in the Tournament of Champions VI bracket.
