Plot Synopsis

In each half-hour episode of TRACK DOWN SAMANTHA BROWN, viewers are transported to a different locale that could be anywhere in the world. But, unlike most other travel programs, the location is not be revealed...until the end. With carefully constructed shooting and story selection, host Samantha Brown keeps the locale a secret while providing clues along the way that allows the audience to play along as they try to figure out where she is. On Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 2-3pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered back-to-back episodes of TRACK DOWN SAMANTHA BROWN, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. The first episode (2pm), "A Country of Contrasts," features a locale with old world charm yet modern architecture and an island with 22 miles of white sand beaches. Then, the second episode (2:30pm), "A Sweet and Salty State," highlights a state that's salty but sweet and home to candy favorites with miles of secluded beaches.
