Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Alan Cumming and based on the Dutch TV series DE VERRADERS, THE TRAITORS is a 10-episode reality series that features 20 larger-than-life personalities (including reality A-listers and America's best game players) who come together to complete a series of challenges with the objective of earning a cash prize of up to $250,000. The catch? Three of the contestants coined "the traitors" devise a plan to steal the prize from the other contestants coined "the faithful." Set in a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands, this game of manipulation and deceit, has Cumming pulling the strings of the cast to create the ultimate 'whodunit'. All 10 episodes of THE TRAITORS dropped on Thursday, January 12, 2023 on HBO Max. On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Peacock released the one-hour reunion episode, featuring the cast of THE TRAITORS settling the score on all the lies, murders, banishments, and treachery. The Season 1 Reunion is hosted by Andy Cohen. Bravo aired the linear television debut of THE TRAITORS on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 5pm ET/PT, kicking off a two-day Season 1 marathon. The first six episodes aired from 5pm-Midnight ET/PT on Saturday, April 29, 2023 on Bravo. The final four episodes and reunion were broadcast on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2:30-9pm ET/PT on Bravo.

The sophomore season of THE TRAITORS debuted with three episodes on Friday, January 12, 2024 on Peacock. Hosted by Alan Cumming at an ancient castle set deep in the Scottish Highlands, contestants work together on a series of missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Hidden amongst the Faithful are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree, while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor or Traitors makes it to the end, they will steal all the money. Season 2 made its linear television debut on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 10:30pm ET/PT on Bravo, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.

Season 3 of THE TRAITORS premiered with three episodes on Thursday, January 9, 2025 on Peacock. New episodes drop weekly on Thursdays at 6pm PT/9pm ET, with the finale and reunion set for March 6. The third season of THE TRAITORS made its linear television debut with back-to-back sneak peek episodes on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 8-11pm ET/PT on NBC. The first two episodes are:

"Let Battle Commence" (8pm): A new all-star cast descends on the Scottish Highlands for the ultimate game of deception and the chance to win up to $250k; before the Traitors are selected, the players must make a huge choice, which could affect the course of the entire game.

"Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold" (9:30pm): The game is turned on its head with the arrival of three new players; the Traitors commit their inaugural murder; a player is banished at the first round table; an unexpected guest arrives to the Traitors' midnight meeting.
