Plot Synopsis

TRAPPED is a one-hour documentary series that chronicles stories of people who survived disasters. Each 60-minute episode features a different event, including a Uruguayan rugby team on a a plane that crashed on a glacier in the Andes, a train that derailed in Osaka, a crew on a cargo ship that suffered engine failure in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, critically ill patients stuck at Tulane Hospital as it switched to backup generators during Hurricane Katrina, seven French cavers stuck 100 meters below the surface after a flash flood trapped them, and residents of two apartment buildings that came tumbling down after a 7.6-magnitude earthquake in Pakistan.
