Plot Synopsis

TRAVEL LIKE A... is a series of specials that reveals what it's like to travel like a famous person, including travels stories, tips and memories. The premiere episode, "Travel Like a President," reveals the behind-the-scenes efforts needed for the commander-in-chief's demanding travel schedule, including how the crew prepare Air Force One, how secret service secures the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, where every president has stayed since Herbert Hoover, and how his support team travels. On a typical presidential trip, as many as 200 hotel rooms must be booked, along with two jumbo 747s, two passenger jets, five helicopters, 35 motorcade vehicles and charter flights for the press. This first special featured previous administration insiders, including: Andy Card (Chief of Staff 2001 - 2006), Mike McCurry (White House Press Secretary 1995 - 1998), Eric Lesser (Asst. of David Axelrod 2009 - 2011), Gregg Pitts (Director of White House Travel 2005 - 2009) and Dan Bongino (Secret Service 1999 - 2011). Subsequent episodes will likely include: "Travel Like a Movie Star"; "Travel Like an Icon"; and many more.
