Plot Synopsis

In each half-hour episode of TRIGGER WARNING WITH KILLER MIKE, Killer Mike tackles one topic -- ranging from the economy, gang culture, religion, education, and more -- and puts his revolutionary ideas about achieving social change into action. "TRIGGER WARNING is about examining cultural taboos and giving viewers the space to examine the 'what ifs' and 'why nots' that limit how some people move and operate in the world," said Michael 'Killer Mike' Render. "In six episodes, we explore the human condition using nontraditional approaches. Not everyone will agree with my methods (and some of what we're putting out is fucking crazy), but this show is about embracing your freedom to challenge societal expectations and conformity. This show is if an anarchist determined the status quo." In the series opener, "Living Black," Killer Mike spends three days using and consuming only products that come from the black community, a goal that leaves him hungry and weed-free. On Friday, January 18, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire six-episode first season of TRIGGER WARNING.
