Plot Synopsis

Based on Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith's young adult novel of the same name, TRINKETS is a half-hour series that centers on three teens -- Elodie, the grieving misfit; Moe, the mysterious outsider; and Tabitha, the imperfect picture of perfection -- who find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifter's Anonymous meeting, where an unlikely friendship forms. Adjusting to a new home and high school after her mom's death leads Elodie back into her comfort zone -- and into a competition with Tabitha and Moe. An invitation to a club may provide a cure-all for Elodie's homesickness, Tabitha's growing disenchantment with her boyfriend and Moe's empty house. A community service day at school presents an unexpected chance for Elodie, Tabitha and Moe to bond as they check out some intriguing merchandise. TRINKETS returned for its 10-episode second season of TRINKETS on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. Shoplifting led them to a priceless friendship, and now Elodie, Tabitha and Moe will try to make sure their troubled pasts won't rob them of the future. Season 2 opens with Moe and Tabitha dodging questions about Elodie's whereabouts, as she experiences the highs and lows of life on the road with the flighty Sabine. Anxious about returning home, Elodie instead enjoys some sticky-fingered bonding with her best friends. Meanwhile, Moe's impetuousness causes concern.
