Plot Synopsis

TRUE DATING STORIES is a short-form digital series that features real people telling their wildest and most shocking dating stories while hilarious re-creations bring them to life. Each episode features a comedic re-telling of the world's most entertaining dating stories with all the drama, romance and comedy they deserve. There's no holding back as they dish on their weird, sometimes creepy predicaments, run-ins with the law, and dates that just don't quite pan out. The entire eight-episode second season dropped on February 11, 2019 on CBC Gem.

TRUE DATING STORIES had its U.S. premiere on Tuesday, February 8, 2021 at 11pm ET/PT on fuse, with each half-hour episode featuring two dating stories. In the debut episode, "Lily & Che," Lily agrees to go on a date with a handsome older man, but things turn sour when he gets high; meanwhile, Che is vacationing in Mexico and picks up a Norwegian hottie, but he gets caught by her husband and seized by the Mexican police.

Season 3 of TRUE DATING STORIES made its U.S. debut on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on fuse, with a season opener featuring Carlita and Vanessa. On a date with her college crush, Carlita is tricked into joining a make-up party; Vanessa "Vanjie" Mateo tells a wild story about visiting a long-distance love interest and how she earned the nickname "The Table-Flipping B*tch."
