Plot Synopsis

This animated series, aimed at preschoolers, is set in a whimsical land, Tumble Leaf, where a small blue fox named Fig and his best friend, Stick, play each day and discover adventure, friendship and love around every bend. Whether Fig and Maple toss coins into a faraway wishing well or Fig flies a kite to get Stick out of a tree, TUMBLE LEAF's themes promote exploration and scientific thinking through play. TUMBLE LEAF was one of 14 Amazon Original comedies and kids pilots that Amazon Instant Video released for free on April 19, 2013. During the subsequent month, customers voted for their favorites, and Amazon announced on May 29, 2013 that it picked up TUMBLE LEAF and four other series. Nearly one year later, TUMBLE LEAF made its official series debut, when Amazon released five more episodes as part of its Amazon Prime service. On Friday, September 5, 2014, Amazon released all seven remaining episodes of TUMBLE LEAF's first season. Stories in the new batch of episodes include: Fig following the bubbles he's blown with a new straw and getting stuck in the bog, where he makes it back to dry land with the help of a frog and some bouncy bog bubbles; Fig and Maple use a block of ice as the inspiration for the igloo that Fig wants to build; Fig, Maple and the chicks head to Snowy Hill for a day of sledding; and many more tales of the adventures of Fig and his friends. Amazon released the first six episodes of Season 2 on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In the season opener, Fig and Hedge must learn how to do their floating magic trick before their invited audience arrives, and then Fig chases a rainbow, hoping to catch it so Stick can keep it in their room. Amazon released the 13-episode third season of TUMBLE LEAF on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In the first story of the season opener, "Stick's Towering, Toppling Cake," Fig and friends try to help Stick deliver a towering layer cake as a surprise without letting the cake topple. Then, in the season premiere's second story, "Bambooboo," Fig finds Bamboo and sets out to return him to Gourd, but the teddy bear keeps getting away from him. Fig must use sticks to get him out of hard-to-reach places. On Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Amazon released the first six episodes of the fourth season of TUMBLE LEAF.
