Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Meredith Vieira and based on the board game of the same name, 25 WORDS OR LESS is a half-hour syndicated daytime game show in which two teams compete to see who can guess secret words or phrases with a limited amount of clues and time, as they vie for the $10,000 prize. Each teams is comprised of two celebrities and a civilian. 25 WORDS OR LESS premiered on Monday, September 16, 2019 with back-to back episodes, featuring: Melissa Peterman & Rick Fox vs. Greg Grunberg & John Michael Higgins; and Mary McCormack & Willie Garson vs. Chelsea Handler & Natalie Morales. Other celebrities in the first season include: Jane Lynch; Margaret Cho; Dr. Drew Pinsky; Penn Jillette; Courteney Cox; Lisa Kudrow; Ross Mathews; Chris Noth; Oscar Nunez; Lea Thompson; Loni Love; Alison Sweeney; Jamie Kennedy; Tisha Campbell; Pete Holmes; Val Chmerkovsky; and more.

Executive produced by Lisa Kudrow, Dan Bucatinsky, and Mary McCormack, 25 WORDS OR LESS first aired during a three-week summer trial run, beginning Monday, August 6, 2018 on FOX television stations in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Dallas, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Charlotte.
