Plot Synopsis

This two-episode reality series follows Miguel Cotto (38-4, 31 KOs) and Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28 KOs), as they prepare for their middleweight title showdown on June 7, 2014 at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Cotto, from Caguas, Puerto Rico, is attempting to become the commonwealth's first four-division world champion, working with trainer Freddie Roach at Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, CA. Hailing from Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Martinez has turned back an impressive list of challengers since first capturing the middleweight crown in 2010, and he'll try to defend his title one more time by training in Miami, FL, with Pablo and Gabriel Sarmiento. 24/7 COTTO/MARTINEZ is the 20th boxing installment in HBO's "24/7" reality franchise.
