Plot Synopsis
Written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry, THE OVAL is a one-hour drama series that centers on the first family in the White House, focusing on the next-level corruption. Hunter Franklin is the newly elected President of The United States and he is joined by: his wife, Victoria; his beautiful and spoiled daughter, Gayle, who is a rebellious and defiant wild child; and his son, Jason, who is a troubled young man. This picture-perfect couple has it all! Money, status, and pure bliss flank the Mr. & Mrs. However, behind closed doors, they are anything but flawless -- with lies, cheating and messy mayhem running amuck. The series opens with the first family preparing for the inauguration ball, when tragic events threaten the family and the White House staff. After a 2.5-month break, THE OVAL returned with new episodes on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on BET, with a simulcast on BET Her. In the spring premiere, "Fear of God," chickens come home to roost for the President as past sins come back to haunt Hunter and Victoria.

Season 2 continues to lift the veil of what can happen when the leader of the free world, his wife and family are crazed maniacs.
