Plot Synopsis

In this one-hour scripted crime drama series, an online community of amateur sleuths use technology to solve crimes -- and make quirky friends -- in their quest for justice. The story opens with Ola witnessing a body plunging from an overpass. When police rule it a suicide, she joins an online team of sleuths to try to solve the case. When a technological genius is found boiled to death, a "smart house" named Alicja and a hacker named Piast help Ola with the mystery. After Henryk's friend's son is blamed for a politically motivated explosion against an anti-immigrant leader, the Violets try to solve the case. ULTRAVIOLET had its U.S. premiere on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the 10-episode first season.

Netflix released the 12-episode second season of ULTRAVIOLET on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. Ola and her team of amateur sleuths continue to help the police solve crimes -- including some that hit very close to home. In the season opener, a relative of Ola's dies under suspicious circumstances just as Michal returns to the police force and is instructed not to work with the Violets again.
