Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Nyima Funk, UNDERCOVER CUPID is a half-hour, hidden-camera series that allows teens to arrange dates for their unsuspecting single parents. In each 30-minute episode, Nyima begins by helping one teenaged daughter or son narrow down potential candidates to the top three suitors, who each have an arranged "chance" encounter with their single parent. Whether they become partners in a bizarre bowling tournament or participate in a dessert-tasting event, the oblivious single parent gets to know potential suitors in a relaxed environment without the pressure of a real date. After the three encounters, the hidden cameras are revealed to the hard-working mom or dad, who chooses one person for a big date.
