Plot Synopsis

Three bona fide bachelor princes travel to the United Kingdom in search of true love, but they go undercover -- living and working as ordinary people for the first time in their lives -- so the people they meet will love them for themselves and not just their wealth and status. Plus, these three princes must share a terraced house in Brighton without their trusty servants, as they learn to cope on their own. To find their true love, they hit the singles scene at bars and clubs, join internet dating sites and even try their hand at speed dating. They do get help from experts, who teach them the art of the chat-up line, and the princes even prepare a home-cooked meal for two single girls who come to visit. At the end of their time in the UK, the princes surprise their chosen ones by revealing their true identity and whisk them back to their kingdoms. The three princes are: Crown Prince Manvendra, a member of one of India's richest royal families, who shocked the world in 2006 by becoming the first Indian royal to come out as gay; His Royal Highness Prince Africa Zulu, a 30-year-old from Zululand, South Africa, who should have taken a wife by now, but having been burnt by love before; and His Royal Highness Prince Remigius of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, who is looking for a queen to continue the royal line. TLC aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 10pm ET.
