Plot Synopsis

Using first-person interviews and re-enactments, THE UNEXPLAINED explores strange real-life cases for which individuals turned to the supernatural world for help. When all traditional methods have failed to provide a resolution to their problem, these people enlist the support of intuitive healers, spirit channelers and psychic mediums. Stories include: a family who refuses to give up hope and meets with a psychic detective to try and help solve the cold case of a man missing for a year; a single mother of three who puts herself in the hands of a Shamanic Healer when doctors are unable to diagnose the cause of her debilitating seizures; and many more tales of mysterious circumstances. The Biography Channel first aired THE UNEXPLAINED as 30-minute special on April 30, 2011 at 11pm ET.
