Plot Synopsis

UNIQUE RIDES is a one-hour reality series that follows Will Castro, a car designer to the stars, as he and his Team Unique crew at his Smithtown, NY, shop redesign rides for the biggest names in Hollywood, music and sports. He turns ordinary autos into extraordinary four-wheeled works of art by drawing from years of design experience collaborating with several major manufacturers including Mercedes, Cadillac, Lincoln, General Motors, Pontiac and Nissan. In the past, he's turned out one-of-a-kind custom autos for a global client base of the biggest celebrities including NBA superstars Lebron James and Carmelo Anthony, P. Diddy, NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon, N.Y. Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, 50 Cent, Donald Trump, actress Pamela Anderson and more. Now, this series chronicles Castro and his team -- from design and tear down to the build and reveal -- as they deliver on the dreams of these clients: singer, songwriter and dancer Jason Derulo; NFL Pro Bowl wider receiver Odell Beckham, Jr.; NBA star and N.Y. Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony; singer and songwriter Austin Mahone; Grammy Award Nominated hip-hop artist Busta Rhymes; actor, comedian, producer and screenwriter John Leguizamo; professional boxer and former WBO middleweight champion Peter 'Kid Chocolate' Quillin; and more.

Season 2 of UNIQUE RIDES premiered on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Velocity, as host Will Castro and his crew returned to build jaw-dropping rides for a new line-up of car-loving celebrities. In the season opener, "Nick Cannon's Muscle Car Makeover," Team Unique takes on a major customizing project for Will's long-time friend, record producer and entertainer Nick Cannon. Nick's 1967 Chevelle comes with plenty of muscle -- it's a 750 horsepower supercharged monster that needs a new interior. Other celebrities in Season 2 include: NBA superstar Russell Westbrook; award-winning record producer DJ Khaled; actor Erik Estrada; celebrated rappers French Montana, Remy Ma and Fat Joe; and many more.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, Velocity premiered the third season of UNIQUE RIDES. The season opener, "Nas' Illmatic Benz," features hip-hop legend Nas as he commissions Will to find him a classic 1988 Mercedes Benz 190-E. Looking to bring this 30-year-old Benz back to life, Nas wants a crisp white car with a blue leather interior with white piping, the old-school back trunk speaker system and a custom ragtop. Also featured in the season premiere is one of Will's returning customers wanting to revamp a 2017 Mustang GT with a custom exhaust, brand new 20-inch rims, leather interior and new matte black paint job all needed to be completed in just two weeks. Later in Season 3, Will also tackles a full range of builds for a diverse group of artists, musicians and personalities, including: the customization of a 1994 Mustang Cobra for TV personality Mario Lopez; a 1962 Jaguar Mark II for Grammy winning singer Billy Joel; a 2004 bright yellow Jeep for TV host Adrienne Bailon; a 2017 Cadillac Escalade for singer and FAST & FURIOUS actor Don Omar; a 2017 Audi A7 for NFL star Jalen Richard; and a 2018 Karma Revero for rapper and actor Ice-T.

On Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT, Velocity premiered "Business in the Front, Party in the Back," a new episode of UNIQUE RIDES. Team Unique goes throwback with a retro Cabriolet overhaul and a mobile-trunk bar for a vintage Bentley.
