Plot Synopsis

Based on the podcast of the same name, UP AND VANISHED is a one-hour docuseries that follows Payne Lindsey and his team of investigative podcasters, as they search for answers in the cases of missing individuals and help the victims' families gain a sense of closure. Witnesses are interviewed and persons of interest are confronted, as Payne and his team stop at nothing to find the truth and try to unravel these mysterious disappearances. Each episode features a different case.

UP AND VANISHED debuted as a one-hour special on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 7pm ET/PT on Oxygen, focusing on the case of high school teacher Tara Grinstead. Tara has been missing for over a decade when Payne begins to investigate, helping lead to the arrest of two former students. When they plead not guilty, Payne's team heads back to Georgia to crack the case.

Fifteen months later -- on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 7-9pm ET/PT -- Oxygen presented the official series premiere of UP AND VANISHED. In the two-hour season opener, "Final Newscast," a 27-year-old news anchor, Jodi Huisentruit, vanishes before her morning newscast in Iowa. For the next 24 years her family and friends are tormented with theories of her demise. Payne and team dive into the cold case to find out the truth about Jodi.

On Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 7pm ET/PT, Oxygen premiered "New Hope in Orlando," the season finale of UP AND VANISHED. In 2006, 27-year-old business executive Jennifer Kesse goes missing from Orlando, FL. Payne Lindsey and his team work with her family in search of answers.
