Plot Synopsis

Each Friday night at 10pm ET/7pm PT, Alec Baldwin hosts UP LATE, as he interviews politicians, newsmakers, and celebrities. Before his series debuted on MSNBC, Baldwin had hosted his WNYC podcast, Here's the Thing, for two years during which he spoke with "smart, talented, and engaging people in every imaginable field," according to Baldwin in an interview with msnbc.com. Baldwin spoke further about his new series with Politico, expressing how he now wants to do a TV show that is "more like how I would like to be treated if I were the guest on a show." Democratic New York mayoral candidate Bill De Blasio was the first guest on UP LATE WITH ALEC BALDWIN.
