Plot Synopsis

VANTASTIC is a half-hour reality series that follows couples and families who overhaul their vans, transforming them into dream weekend warrior machines, allowing them to maximize good times and avoid blowing money on hotels. On Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Noon ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the pilot of VANTASTIC, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Happy Camper," new parents fall in love with a rusty VW Westfalia and take it to Vintage Surfari Wagons for a complete overhaul. Wrestling with a tight $11,000 budget, the team must figure out how to fit an office, kitchen, bed and surf racks into one tiny van.
