Plot Synopsis

Using rare and never-before-seen video, football analyst Rick Neuheisel takes a look back at the best and brightest Pac-12 athletes and coaches. Each 30-minute episode focuses on a specific year in the conference's history, ranging from its years as the Pacific Coast Conference through it years as the Pacific-8 and up to its current incarnation as the Pac-12. Plus, VARSITY DAYS uses graphics, statistics and fun facts to provide historical perspective. To get this rare footage, Patrick Phillips, the Pac-12 Director of Archives, personally visited each institution and foraged through reels of film to find the content for this show. Whether it's a highlight of Dan Fouts throwing the ball for Oregon, footage of Bobby Moore (later known as Ahmad Rashad) scoring touchdowns, or a season-review show from the 1951 Pacific Coast Conference football season, VARSITY DAYS focuses primarily on men's football and basketball.
