Plot Synopsis

A spoof inspired by the 1960s action cartoon shows such as JOHNNY QUEST, THE VENTURE BROS. is a 30-minute animated series that follows the bizarre misadventures of the Venture family: Dean Venture, the smarter and more reserved fraternal twin brother; Hank Venture, the more adventurous younger brother of Dean -- by only four minutes; their father, Rusty Venture, who is the current owner and head of Venture Industries. adult swim debuted the one-hour Season 5 premiere of this series on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at midnight ET, with guest voice appearances by J.K. Simmons, Larry Murphy, Paget Brewster, John Hodgman, Wyatt Cenac, Tim Meadows, Gillian Jacobs, Bill Hader and Kate McKinnon.
The eight-episode sixth season of THE VENTURE BROS. premiered on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim. In the season opener, "Hostile Makeover," The Ventures move in to a swankier apartment; meanwhile, The Monarch must contend with a commute. In addition to Nathan Fillion returning as the Brown Widow, the new season picks up in the aftermath of the 2015 special, "All This and Gargantua-2."
