Plot Synopsis

VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR is a half-hour interview series with some of the world's top talent responsible for the best music videos. Season 1 focused on the directors, such as Russell Mulcahy and Wayne Isham, who created influential videos and looks for artists, while subsequent seasons featured the artists discussing their own work. Each 30-minute episode of later seasons provides an in-depth look at one band's most-loved videos via interviews with band members and the video's directors, who discuss the creation and impact of their legendary music videos, plus fun and funny anecdotes from the creative/filming process. Profiled artists include: Duran Duran; Spandau Ballet; The Boomtown Rats - Bob Geldof; Sting; U2; Bon Jovi; Bryan Adams; Fleetwood Mac; Guns N' Roses; Metallica; Def Leppard; Fatboy Slim; Kim Wilde; Megadeth.
