Plot Synopsis

As a spinoff of WAGS (Women and Girlfriends of Sports Stars), this one-hour reality series follows a Miami-based group of beautiful and outspoken women who make up an exclusive club of spouses and girlfriends of professional athletes. Spicing up the eight-episode debut season, the sexy ladies form an exclusive group that provide love, support and of course a heavy dose of drama. However, with this privileged exclusivity comes specific rules for being a WAG. From knowing how to support your man to learning the hierarchy of the WAG world and the drama that comes with it, these outspoken and independent ladies are the experts of maneuvering, manipulating and always making sure to look damn good while doing it. The WAGS MIAMI cast includes: fitness model and trainer Hencha Voigt, who has a long roster of pro-athletes she's dated, including former Miami Heat and Miami Marlins stars as well as a former Boston Celtic who she fell in and out of love with; model Claudia Sampedro, who blended her family with that of Julius Peppers, outside linebacker of the Green Bay Packers; real estate and business investor Vanessa Cole, who has spent seven years with a major player on the Baltimore Ravens, one of the highest paid wide receivers in the NFL; professional model Ashley Nicole Roberts, who met Philip Wheeler, a linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons over seven years ago when he was playing football for the Colts; Darnell Nicole, who has known Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones, and is planning their wedding; swimsuit designer Astrid Bavaresco, whose roster of ex's feature pros from the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers; model Metisha Schaefer, who has dated former pro baseball and football players; and LA-based Nicole Williams, who has strained relations with Metisha because a guy allegedly cheated with Nicole while he was still with Metisha. Season 2 of WAGS MIAMI premiered on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT on E!. The sophomore season has the South Florida ladies bringing the heat. Ashley Roberts is in the midst of planning the wedding of her dreams with fiancee, Atlanta Falcons' linebacker, Philip Wheeler, but Philip has his sights set on another ring as his team prepares for the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Metisha Schaefer, Hencha Voigt and Astrid Bavaresco continue to navigate the wild ride that comes with being single in Miami. Still coping with the aftermath of her breakup with Reshad Jones (Miami Dolphins), Darnell Nicole Thibodeaux remains resilient while Claudia Sampedro (dating Julius Peppers of the Green Bay Packers) is finally engaged and able to focus on their future. New additions to the cast include wives Faven Biru, married to Corey Luiget of the Los Angeles Chargers and Kayla Cox who is married to former MLB player Eric Fornataro. As Faven struggles with her husband's team's relocation, Kayla juggles married life with her career as a top Wilhelmina model. From the shops on Lincoln Road to the white-hot sands of South Beach, these ladies prove the only thing hotter than the Miami weather is the drama.

On Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 10pm-Midnight ET/PT, E! premiered the Season 2 finale of WAGS: MIAMI. In the two-hour season ender, "Hurricane Phyllis; My Best Friend's Wedding," Ashley and Phil finally tie the knot, but not without mother-in-law drama. Darnell finds out that Metisha used to date her new guy. Hencha confides in Darnell after she suspects she may be pregnant. Tension between Kayla and Eric threatens to irreversibly damage their marriage.
