Plot Synopsis

Each year since 1983 -- except in 2000 -- ABC has broadcast a Disney-themed Christmas Day parade from inside Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom in Orlando, FL.

On Christmas Day 2023 (Sunday, December 25) from 10am-Noon ET / 9-11am CT/MT/PT, ABC premiered the "The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade," a two-hour event hosted by Derek Hough and Julianne Hough from Walt Disney World Resort, alongside bi-coastal hosts Jesse Palmer and Mickey Guyton. In addition to the parade, musical performances include:

- Derek Hough and Julianne Hough: "Good Morning" and "Deck the Halls" Medley
- Ariana DeBose: "This Wish" from Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Wish"
- Chrissy Metz: "Silver Bells"
- The Smashing Pumpkins: "Evergreen" (A new, original holiday song!)
- Iam Tongi: "Mele Kalikimaka"
- The Broadway and North American Tour Cast of Disney's "Aladdin": "Friend Like Me"
- Meg Donnelly: "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)"
- Michael Bolton: "Joy to the World"

And, to celebrate the 40th parade, the special look back at some of the most iconic performances from years past.s
