Plot Synopsis

From the writers of DEADPOOL and ZOMBIELAND, WAYNE is a black comedy series that tells the gritty, hilarious, and sometimes bloody roadtrip adventure tale of young love and reckless youth. When the titular teenage renegade's 1978 Pontiac Trans Am is stolen from his father on his deathbed, Wayne sets out with nothing but a dirt bike and his new crush Del to take back his rightful inheritance. From Southie to South Florida, it is Wayne and Del against the world. This 10-episode action-comedy series had its world premiere at Tribeca TV Festival on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 4:30pm at Spring Studios, as the creator, series stars, director, writers and executive producers participated in a panel discussion moderated by US Weekly's Emily Longeretta, immediately following the debut of the show's first episode. Nearly four months later YouTube Premium released the entire first season on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.
