Plot Synopsis

THE WIDOW is an eight-episode drama series that follows Georgia Wells who has cut herself off from her previous life and is no longer the woman she once was. Even though her husband Will was pronounced dead in a plane crash three years earlier, she sees her "late" husband on the news and is pulled back to face the world and will stop at nothing until she gets the truth about her past. This thriller takes Georgia into the depths of the African Congo where danger and revelation greet her at every turn. To find the truth about her husband, Georgia must first work with Emmanuel, together they attempt to track down the mysterious Pieter Bello. THE WIDOW premiered on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Amazon Prime released all eight episodes.
