Plot Synopsis

THE WILDLIFE DOCS is a half-hour reality series that goes behind the scenes at Busch Gardens Tampa, as veterinarians, technicians, and trainers care for the more than 12,000 exotic animals that inhabit the park. This series takes an up-close look at the medical procedures and enriching care that take place in the park's new Animal Care Center, a 16,000-square-foot medical center, which includes a nutrition center, treatment rooms, clinical lab, and viewing areas for park visitors. THE WILDLIFE DOCS is part of Litton Entertainment's programming block, "Litton's Weekend Adventure," which includes six, half-hour, hi-def educational and informational series on Saturday mornings (check local listings) on ABC affiliates across the United States.

Season 2 premiered the weekend of Saturday, October 4, 2014 on ABC. In the season opener, The Wildlife Docs find that Stanley the wallaby has a broken wrist in two places, so they complete a delicate surgery and give Stanley a cast to help his bones heal.
