Plot Synopsis

WILL & GRACE returned for a 16-episode first season on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT on NBC. Stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally -- each of whom received at least one Emmy Award for their respective performances throughout the original series -- are back, and original series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan are as showrunners and executive producers. Legendary director James Burrows, who directed every episode of the show during its initial eight-year run, is on board to direct and executive produce. In the season opener, "11 Years Later," Will and Grace both falter when their political beliefs are put to the test. Jack and Karen help Will and Grace hide their secret shame from each other, but the truth finally comes out. Guest stars for the first season include: Ben Platt; Kyle Bornheimer as Lenny, a security guard; Bobby Cannavale, returning as Will's cop ex-boyfriend Vince D'Angelo; Jane Lynch; Andrew Rannells; and many more.

One day before the series premiere, NBC announced that it's bringing the ultimate fan experience to life with the "Will & Grace After Party," celebrating all of the reasons viewers love the iconic sitcom. The after show is available Friday mornings, the day after the broadcast airing, of the first six episodes of the season, and can be found across the NBC app, the WILL & GRACE social accounts, YouTube channel, E! platforms and NBC's participating owned and affiliate station sites starting September 29. Set in a New York-style bar, the "Will & Grace After Party" show combines pop-culture maven Kristin Dos Santos with WILL & GRACE superfans for a viewing party, games, trivia and exclusive behind-the-scenes material - not to mention surprise appearances from the show's creative team and special celebrity guests. Over the course of the show's first six episodes, "After Party" will provide an all-encompassing fan-centric journey through current and past episodes of Will & Grace and its influence on pop-culture since its initial debut in 1998. Burning questions will be covered like who had better boyfriends: Will or Grace? What were some of Jack's best and worst side hustles? How does Karen manage to drink so much and stay alive? The "After Party" will cover it all with a wink and a smile with real fans getting to be the stars of the show right up until last call.

Season 2 of WILL & GRACE premiered on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT on NBC. In the season opener, "The West Side Curmudgeon," Grace's accidental run-in with Noah (guest star David Schwimmer), a curmudgeonly man she follows on Twitter, hints at a possible new love interest. Jack wants to look younger before meeting Estefan's (guest star Brian Jordan Alvarez) family on Skype but makes a terrible first impression after overdoing the numbing cream before his facial procedure. Meanwhile, Will helps Karen protect the intellectual property rights of her most prized possession. Other guest stars in Season 2 include: Chelsea Handler, Alec Baldwin, Mary McCormack, Matt Bomer, Jon Cryer, Adam Rippon, Minnie Driver, and more.

The third and final season of WILL & GRACE premiered on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 9:30pm ET/PT on NBC. In the season opener, "Eat, Pray, Love, Phone, Sex," Grace returns from her European travels a new woman, but her elation is short-lived when she receives life-changing news. Karen teaches Will how to be better at phone sex, and inadvertently helps him admit he wants a family with McCoy. Jack has a yard sale to discreetly get rid of Estefan's (guest star Brian Jordan Alvarez) annoying cuckoo clock. Additional guest stars this season include: Matt Bomer, Vanessa Bayer, Blythe Danner, Demi Lovato, Billie Lourd, Joel McHale, and more.
On Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT, NBC premiered "It's Time," the series finale of WILL & GRACE, immediately followed by a half-hour retrospective special:

"It's Time" (9pm): With the apartment packed up, Will is determined to not reminisce about his life in the city or his ex, McCoy (guest star Matt Bomer). Grace, on the verge of giving birth, keeps having false alarms of going into labor. At the behest of Stan, Karen goes to the top of the Statue of Liberty to get closure with her ex-husband. And Jack's dream of taking a bow on a Broadway stage becomes a very real possibility. Minnie Driver and Brian Jordan Alvarez guest star.

"A Will & Graceful Goodbye" (9:30pm): Hosted by Eric McCormack, this half-hour special retrospective shows clips of past and present episodes that highlight the series' most iconic and memorable moments. The look back also features emotionally-charged reactions from WILL & GRACE superfans and celebrities who will share stories about what the show has meant to them.
