Plot Synopsis

WIZARDS BEYOND WAVERLY PLACE, a sequel to WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE, is a half-hour comedy series that follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin's sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities -- and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World. Selena Gomez (as Alex Russo) will guest star in the first episode. Plus, David DeLuise returns to guest star as the Russo family patriarch, Jerry Russo; Maria Canals-Barrera guest stars as Theresa Russo; and Jake T. Austin reprises his role as Max Russo.

WIZARDS BEYOND WAVERLY PLACE debuted on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 8-9pm ET/PT on Disney Channel with back-to-back episodes:

"Everything Is Not What It Seems" (Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel): Alex Russo brings a mischievous and exceptionally powerful student, Billie, to her brother Justin's home in the hopes of coaxing him out of retirement to teach her.

"Mortal Vibes Only" (Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 8:30pm ET/PT on Disney Channel): Billie's use of magic outside of the lair gets her in trouble with Justin, and her fear of being kicked out of yet another home bubbles to the surface.

Two more episodes debut the following night, and then new installments premiere on Fridays, beginning November 8:

"Saved by the Spell" (Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel): On her first day of school, Billie uses magic to impress Roman's best friend. But when a jealous Roman steals Billie's wand, he falls into the grasp of a wizard-hunting phantomus!

"Something Wizard This Way Comes" (Wednesday, October 30, 2024 on Disney+; linear TV on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 8:30pm ET/PT on Disney Channel): On Halloween, Billie tells Roman about Pumpkin Belly, a ghoul who eats anyone whose house isn't spookily decorated. Meanwhile, Justin, Milo and Giada defend the home from pranksters.

"Wizards Just Wand to Have Fun" (Friday, November 8, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel): Billie and Justin must work together to undo a spell when Billie's prank goes awry. Roman gains muscles thanks to a magical muscle tee. Milo's class pet gets loose in the house.

"The Legend of Creepy Follows" (Friday, November 8, 2024 at 8:30pm ET/PT on Disney Channel): When Billie uses a spell on her BadgerBook profile and accidentally enchants her classmates, she must find a way to break it to get everyone back to normal.
