Plot Synopsis

Using only hand tools of the pre-industrial era, host Roy Underhill and his guests complete workdworking projects. After premiering locally on PBS in North Carolina in 1979, this series had its national PBS debut two years later. On Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 3pm (check local listings for time), PBS premiered the 35th season of THE WOODWRIGHT'S SHOP. In the season opener, Roy began to build a rocking cradle based on one seen in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, and he completed the project the following week.
