Plot Synopsis

Each year, ESPN covers the WORLD SERIES OF POKER, culminating in a virtually live event from Las Vegas. Main Event Final Table coverage on Monday continues until nine players have been narrowed down to three, and on Tuesday until only one player remains. Coverage of the 2013 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event began Tuesday, August 6, and finished with two virtually live presentations of the Main Event Final Table on Monday, November 4 and Tuesday, November 5. ESPN's coverage of the 2014 WSOP began on Tuesday, July 15 from 8-10pm ET/5-7pm PT, featuring play from 126 players at the WSOP National Championship, which took place over Memorial Day Weekend on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Following a one-week hiatus, coverage returned with action from the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Tuesday, July 29 with coverage of the $1 million buy-in Big One for ONE DROP charity tournament. For three consecutive weeks (July 29, August 5 & August 12), the WSOP on ESPN aired Tuesday nights from 8-10pm ET/5-7pm PT. Then, the WSOP on ESPN returned Sunday, September 28, airing for seven consecutive Sunday nights (9-11pm ET/6-8pm PT) providing 45th WSOP Main Event coverage where this year's winner will walk away with $10 million. Coverage ended with virtually live coverage of the Finals Table on Monday, November 10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT and Tuesday, November 11 at 9pm ET/6pm PT. Lead commentator Lon McEachern and analyst Norman Chad returned for 2014.
For the 2015 WSOP, ESPN began its coverage on Tuesday, August 18 from 9-11pm ET/6-8pm PT with coverage of the 2015 WSOP National Championship. Then, the 16-part WSOP Main Event Championship broadcast began one month later on Monday, September 14, culminating in the determination of the November Nine on Sunday, November 1. One week later -- on Sunday, November 8 -- the November Nine return for nearly live coverage of the final table on three consecutive nights: Sun, Nov. 8 at 8:30pm ET on ESPN2; Mon, Nov. 9 at 8pm ET on ESPN2; and Tue, Nov 10 at 9:30pm ET on ESPN.
