Plot Synopsis

Each week Jim Rash hosts a roundtable discussion with a panel that includes producers, writers, cast members and creators of one iconic, scripted TV series. In Season 1 he was also joined by a featured expert from "Entertainment Weekly" on each program, and in Season 2 an expert from various new organizations dropped by for a few, but not all, programs. THE WRITERS' ROOM reveals what happens behind the scenes and divulges inside details about their smartest choices, toughest decisions and biggest mistakes. The six-episode first season included panels from the following programs: BREAKING BAD (July 29); PARKS AND RECREATION (August 5); DEXTER (August 12); NEW GIRL (August 19); GAME OF THRONES (August 26; and AMERICAN HORROR STORY (September 2).
