Plot Synopsis

Named for the Roman numeral tattooed on his neck, XIII is a former secret operative who cannot remember his past and is on a quest to uncover the truth about his identity. Hunted by a dark anti-government organization, XIII searches for clues that will lead him to who he is, and to the secret he carries that makes him so valuable -- and so potentially dangerous. To gain information, the highly-trained XIII must take on missions from those he cannot trust, including the former President Sheridan, a possible traitor. Complicating matters, XIII is still drawn to the enigmatic Jones, a Secret Service operative with whom XIII was once involved. In Season 1, which premiered in the U.S. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 9pm ET on ReelzChannel, this nameless spy traveled to seven foreign countries and as many places in the United States, as he sought information about his past while protecting the world from a computer program -- held within three different wrist watches -- that could break in to any computer program anywhere. This series, rebranded as XIII.2, returned for its second season in the U.S. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 10pm ET on ReelzChannel, with the secret operative emerging from the shadows of his self-imposed exile and joining the activist anti-globalization group The Veil, where he is labeled as a terrorist -- and captured and tortured -- after the Synequanon headquarters is bombed.
