Plot Synopsis

Travel writer/blogger Stuart Schuffman -- also known as "Broke Ass Stuart" and "The Chief of Cheap" -- journeys across America to find the less travelled locales in the country's most visited cities, providing a travelogue for explorers and wanderers. Broke Ass Stuart uncovers the hidden, cheap and carefully guarded gems that might be overlooked in mainstream travel guides for six of America's favorite cities: New Orleans, where Stuart takes a tour of the swamps and gets fitted for fangs; Baltimore, where he gets hypnotized at an underground warehouse party; San Diego, where he takes in an offbeat circus and explores Robb Field Skate Park in Ocean Beach; Boston, where Stuart pitches in at the Sam Adams Brewery; Detroit, where he rides go-karts in an abandoned velodrome and visits the Joe Louis Fist Statue; and Memphis, where Stuart dances the night away at a disco party and visits the Metal Museum with metal-worker Holly Fisher.
