YOUNG, FAMOUS & AFRICAN is a reality series that follows a group of young, affluent and famous A-list media personalities. Hailing from South Africa, Nigeria and East Africa, this aspirational who's who of music, media, fashion and Insta stars comes together in JoBurg. All friends and connected, they are on a quest to find love, rekindle old flames, reboot struggling relationships as they continue to shine bright. The entire seven-episode first season dropped on Friday, March 18, 2022 on Netflix.

The sophomore season of YOUNG, FAMOUS & AFRICAN premiered on Friday, May 19, 2023, as Netflix released all nine episodes of the new season. Bonang Matheba, Fantana, and Luis Munana join in Season 2, alongside Sebabatso Mothibi and Rosette Ncwana. Returning cast includes Khanyi Mbau, Diamond Platnumz, Zari "The Boss Lady", Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Innocent "2baba" Idibia, Nadia Nakai, Swanky Jerry, Naked DJ, Kayleigh Schwark, and Andile Ncube. In the season opener, "Awkward Reunions," a party at Diamond's house brings the whole crew back together, but unresolved quarrels turn a long-awaited reunion into an awkward affair.
