Plot Synopsis

German stand-up comedian Oliver Polak spends a day with each of his famous guests at their favorites spots and then roasts them in this fresh twist on the celebrity profile. The entire three-episode first season of YOUR LIFE IS A JOKE dropped on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 on Netflix:

"Christian Ulmen": Oliver accompanies Christian Ulmen to a few of his favorite locales, including a hardware store and a car wash. Afterward, the jokes fly onstage.

"Nura": Oliver explores Berlin with rapper Nura, who brings the comedian to some of her top haunts, including a roller-skating rink and a nail salon.

"Jennifer Weist": Rock star Jennifer Weist hits the gym, eats ice cream and opens up about coming of age in the music world. Later, an inspired Oliver does stand-up.
