Plot Synopsis

In this one-hour baking competition series, dessert wizard Adriano Zumbo looks for the next Willy Wonka as skilled amateurs try to avoid being eliminated as they compete for a $100,000 prize -- and a chance to see one of their creations in Zumbo's shops. The series opens with a dozen home cooks hitting the kitchen to show Zumbo and his co-host, chef Rachel Khoo, who they are as dessert makers. Later, two competitors take on a futuristic Zumbo Test. Adriano and Khoo are joined by Gigi Falanga, who serves as the show's timekeeper and on-the-floor assistant. ZUMBO'S JUST DESSERTS had its U.S. premiere on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire 12-episode first season.

The 10-episode second season of ZUMBO'S JUST DESSERTS had its U.S. premiere on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire new season. Cohosts Adriano Zumbo and Rachel Khoo return to the Dessert Factory to judge impossible cakes, amazing confections and other fantastic sweets. In the season opener, "Make Some Magic!," the judges ask 10 new cooks for dazzling desserts that are hiding a secret. Later, the bottom two must make a whimsical "I'm Not Lion" cake.
