Plot Synopsis

Two young British Muslims, a brother and sister, are each pulled in radically different directions by conflicting personal experiences in post 9/11 Britain. Sohail is an ambitious law student whose desire to assimilate into every aspect of contemporary British culture drives to work for the MI5. He is assigned is to help track down a terrorist cell linked to the London Tube bombings. The case leads him back to his own community in Northern England where no one is above suspicion. Unlike her brother, Nasima, a medical student, is deeply suspicious of the British establishment and spends much of her time protesting against, what she considers to be, repressive government policies. She witnesses firsthand the relentless targeting of her Muslim neighbors and eventually joins a terrorist training camp in Pakistan.
