Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by Collen McCullough. In 1920 Australia, a young woman and her ranching family struggles to survive in the rugged outback. Her life becomes complicated by an ambitious local priest who falls in love with her but refuses to leave the church. Their agonizing romance continues over 42 years with heartbreaking consequences for all concerned.
