Plot Synopsis

Radio personality-turned concert promoter Harley Henderson is preparing for his upcoming Deadwood, South Dakota '80s Flashback Fest, hiring lumberjacks to clear-cut the pristine Black Hills Ponderosa pines. The deforestation disturbs a Bigfoot monster, and it soon slaughters all the lumberjacks. Determined to go forward with the concert, he blames the deaths on a machinery malfunction and hires a big game hunter to kill the beast. Local folk singer-turned environmentalist Simon Quinn learns of the Bigfoot hunt and mounts an aggressive protest. As the concert begins, Bigfoot rages through the panicked attendees, killing dozens. Harley, distraught over lost revenue and prestige, vows to capture Bigfoot and exploit it for profit, while Simon resolves to save the "endangered" animal. But Bigfoot continues its killing spree and when it starts heading for the summer crowds of Mt. Rushmore, the sheriff calls in the National Guard. Fighting his way through stampeding tourists, Bigfoot ends up on the national monument and all-out assault is mounted in order to destroy the wild beast.
