Plot Synopsis
In 1880 New Mexico, an all-black cavalry troop under the leadership of a fearless ex-slave Sargent, pursue an Apache warrior throughout the territory. The tight-knit group must also suffer endless degradation heaped on them by white officers in the segregated Army. Fierce fighters, the Buffalo Soldiers face a crisis of conscience when ordered to kill innocent Indian women and children... they are ultimately forced to listen to the cries of humanity over the demands of duty.
